Description
Old-vine Barossa Valley Shiraz, Albert Shiraz is named after Kym Teusner's Grandfather, Albert Alfred Teusner, a man admired for his commitment and his persistence. The Albert Shiraz is made from parcels of fruit sourced from a couple of our favourite vineyards… an old block at Ebenezer in the Barossa’s North and another in the Barossa’s Far North at Koonunga.
Smells
All the black fruits, blackberry, dark plum, black cherry, cassis, with spicy oak notes
Tastes
Fine-grained, complete and elegant, plenty of dark fruits with spice and pepper. Supple and velvety tannins with length for miles. Enjoy now until 2035+, with a slab of red meat or hard cheese. Recommend serving temperature 18c.
