The wine is matured in 12 months in older French oak hogsheads before being bottle fermented and aged on its yeast lees for two years. Deep black cherry, chocolate, mocha aromas with hints of spice and vanilla.
Tastes
Beautifully integrated, the intense layers of black plums, cherries, bitter chocolate and spices marry together in the creamy, mellow texture. Finely beaded bubbles, seductive rich fruit core and a refined, warming finish; this is a special journey. Amazing with Turkey and all the trimmings. The recommended serving temperature is 8-10 degrees.
