Extreme value and pleasure per dollar spent does not come better than these two wines! Both crafted to the Estates Flagship level and declassified into the winery's Block 88 brand. Because they don't align stylistically with their Sancerre like $30 Savvy & Burgundian like $50 Pinot Noir.

Block 88 Sauvignon Blanc 2023 - Savvy experience unmatched at $13.99
An explosion of flavour rolls over the palate with textural seduction. Made to $30 estate standards. It's too lusciously fruited, which is why it is declassified from the final blend for the elegant estate release.
Block 88 Pinot Noir 2021 - Pinot Noir of unrivalled opulence at $20.99
An opulent tirade of Pinot flavour wrapped in quality fine oak and silky tannins. Declassified from the final barrel selection for the $50 estate blend. It's too opulent and flavoursome for the more floral, precise, complex and finely balanced Estate.
Both are expensively made wines, just stylistically unsuited to the Estates flagship wines. It's extraordinary to experience the level of quality of these two wines at their respective price points.
If you're prepared to trust my judgement and advice you will be drinking next-level wines at low everyday prices. Like discovering wine gold in an economic malaise.
