Dessert Wine is made with any varietal of grape provided there is enough sugar to not only convert to alcohol, but with enough residual sugar remaining to produce a wine style with luscious sweetness. Using viticulture techniques and suitable vintage conditions, these wines can be produced as a White or Red Wine Dessert style. Ideal with cheeses, desserts or dried fruit and nuts.
