Glendough Wild Botanical & Rose Gin

Glendalough Distillery is nestled is some of the most pristine countryside in Ireland. A bunch of lads who have a real passion for reviving the heritage of craft distilling have created two very lovely gins.

Both Gins showcase fresh botanicals handpicked form the Wicklow mountains. Glendalough has a fulltime forager that handpicks hours before each distil. They are 250Litre batches which helps create a very high-quality batch each time. A lot of man hours, care and love for the land goes into these gins, which make them so special.

Wild Rose – Deserved winner of the coveted 'Master Award' at the 2019 Spirits Business-Gin Masters in London. Three varieties were slowly and gently vapour distilled to release their beautiful essential oils; the rare and elusive wild rose from the beautiful Wicklow mountains, large fragrant Heritage Roses and the ancient, prized, Damask Rose. The 3 different organic roses permeate every atom of this gorgeous pink Gin extraordinaire. Gorgeous florals, rose petals, Turkish delight, pink peppercorns, and earthy baking spices lure your senses.

Wild Botanicals - An incredible array of only the freshest, wild foraged Irish botanicals from the hauntingly beautiful and remote Wicklow Mountains are picked on distillation day by Geraldine Kavanagh to go into this artisanal gin. Incredibly perfumed with floral, fresh herbs and freshly cut grass notes. The foraged wild botanicals give a sauvage (wild in French) character, its complex and grassy yet somehow tamed by sweet summer flowers and the pungent notes of elderflowers and hints of liquorice.
