This concept is not uncommon with breweries – it’s been happening for years with mega brands Heineken and Corona and on a smaller scale where NZ craft brewery Yeastie Boys is brewed under contract in the UK. Unlike the aforementioned big brands, Ballast Point is brewed with the same love and care as in the states, under strict Quality Control by a local, highly awarded and well-respected premium craft brewery. It looks the same, tastes the same – but is available as fresh as possible, straight off the canning line.
