Southpaw Brewing feature
Southpaw Brewing was inspired by four mates travelling the
world drinking darn good beer, they had a dream of starting their own brewery
once they all returned to Christchurch. In 2016 their dream became reality and
they brewed their first beer. Then in 2019 they made the exciting step of buying
their own 1200L Brewery...
… Since then, they’ve won awards, added to their core-range and released exciting styles from their seasonal program.
Today we have 4 beers that we all thought really stood out (including two, seasonal Fresh Hop beers)
- The Fix - Fresh Hop Pale Ale: Full bodied with a punch bitterness
- Fall Classic - Fresh Hop IPA: Juicy and hazy with grassy Fresh Hop notes
- Crooked Number - Stone Fruit Sour: Tart with notes of; apricot, nectarines, peaches and plum
- Holy Roller - Hoppy Saison: Clove-like phenolics and spicy esters balanced with wine-like Hop notes
