Smells
classic Islay aromas of smoke, peat, seaweed and sea salt swirling in a mix of liquorice, iodine and wood smoke.
Tastes
a big masculine, smoky whisky leading with seaweed, iodine and salty flavours, given softness by the vanilla, creamy richness. Finishing with spices and wood char and hints band-aids inherent to Laphroaig.
