This whiskey does pack a punch but in all the right directions and in due course has won many accolades.
Smells
wonderful smells of butter and sugar caramelising, with toasted almonds, pecans and walnuts underpinned by rum and raisin ice cream and a dash of lemon for freshness.
Tastes
a dichotomy of flavours, sweet then fiery and hot with nuances of toasted grains and cola, tailing towards smoky, cigar box characters on the finish.
