Description

Maison Champagne Gardet are a family House Est. 1895. These days under the stewardship of Christophe & Nathalie Prieux, also owners of Maison Ployez-Jacquemart. The House style is that of longer ageing on lees in bottle to develop greater richness and complexity in the wine enabling the dosage at bottling to be drier... delivering a fresher, cleaner Champagne experience. Champagne Gardet Blanc de Noir is crafted from 100% Premier Cru Black Fruits... Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier... to create a Champagne with ample fruit and body. 36-months ageing on lees is considerably longer than the big budget high profile commercial brands. It is superior, 100% Premier Cru non-vintage Champagne minus the big dollar marketing budgets… thereby over delivering on price! Which those wily politicians at UK’s Hose of Commons cottoned onto making it their House Pour Champagne. It has also been served on several notable Airline Business Class Cabins.

Smells

Enticing, floral, citrus and berry aromas with underlying almond and bread complexities.

Tastes

Very pure citrus and berry fruits explode it a creamy, zesty mousse with seductive lees ageing flavours of almond, brioche, and biscuit. The finish is finely bubbled, minerally fresh and tinged with delicate citrus... a totally engaging and rewarding Champagne experience in a pleasingly dry style. Brilliant with seafood, white meats, and poultry... equally brilliant as an aperitif or nightcap. Always enjoy non-vintage Champagnes when they are young and fresh.
