Description

Ployez-Jacquemart are a boutique, quality dedicated 'House' located in the Premier Cru village of Ludes, and producing just 90,000 bottles annually. They have an uncommon, more expensive method of aging their Champagne. After an initial 12-months aging on lees horizontally, the wines are riddled to drive the lees down into the neck then aged 'sur pointe' (on their nose) for many more years. This creates elegant, mineral Champagne - all of which are Extra Brut (regions driest designation) and gorgeously fine and fresh. This “Extra Quality Brut” has refined white stone fruits with fine nutty, subtle bready Champagne complexities... the finish is unerringly long, and finely balanced.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
