Description

Crémant de Bordeaux, a sparkling wine, made the same way as Champagne but typically using the local grapes of the region. There are 8 appellations that make Crémant in France and 2 outside of France. Same method, different grape varieties and aged for 9 months on the lees in the bottle versus the Champagne appellation’s minimum requirement of 12 months for NV Champagne. Louis Couturier is excellent replacement bubbles when your budget doesn’t stretch to Champagne. Times are tough and we can all do with a bargain, one that will help us celebrate the good times and leave us with change in our pockets.

Smells

Enticing, vibrant aromas of white fruits, sweet lemonade, subtle roasted nuts and creaming soda.

Tastes

Exuberantly bubbly palate with vibrant white peach and lemonade threaded by subtle nutty, toasty lees aging characters. Moderately soft acidity brings freshness and adds delicious drinkability, accentuating the finish. Super accessibly priced French Bubbles. Grab a few bottles, prepare a tasty & diverse platter, and gather your friends.
