Mumm meets Marlborough and what a magical moment. Pernod Ricard has partnered with Champagne House G.H.Mumm to make Mumm Marlborough Rose and it's proving to be a fine partnership indeed. 100% Marlborough Pinot Noir grapes from a single vintage (2017) combined with the French flair of Methode Traditionelle winemaking and aged for four years before release. The outcome is nothing less than superb.
Smells
a delicate bouquet of strawberries and cream with a dash of rosemary, a sprinkle of spice and hints of citrus peel.
Tastes
Pretty in pink, both in packaging and in the glass, oodles of appeal for lovers of all things pink. A gorgeous Rose style of bubbles, full of summer berry fruits and layers of ‘Je ne sais quoi’ (that certain French unknown element, enticing and alluring and keeps you guessing). A creamy mousse adds to the excitement, making for the perfect rose with friends. Serve with salmon, cheese, or cured meats.
