Description

Cuisine loved it (previously scored 4.5stars), we love it, and you will love it, trust us. This limited edition, special release sparkling wine is made using traditional techniques using all three grape varieties typically found in Champagne, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Lees ageing in bottle for over 18 months, producing a wine of complexity, richness and with a wonderfully creamy mid-palate. Great drinking with friends, on its own or with your favourite canapes.

Smells

Pinot Noir aromas full the glass; ripe strawberries, wild raspberries and with a dusting of cinnamon, underpinned by red apples, brioche, vanilla and bready nuances.

Tastes

the structure of Pinot resonates strongly on the palate, generous round fruit, red berry fruit flavours and moderately soft acid. This is balance by the toasty, leesy, savoury complexity due to ageing on the dead yeast in the bottle, giving a creamy mid-palate. Too easy to drink, its dangerous, seriously, why buy a bottle when a case is the better buy??? Rates as one of the top sparkling wines of NZ. I rest my case....

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
