Description
Perhaps it invokes memories of over-indulgent holidays to Central Otago, but The Cadenza from Misha's really hits the spot. Hung out well after everything else is off their Bendigo vineyard and fermented to 108 grams residual sugar and 9.5% alcohol, it is a lavish and exotic treat that's perfectly matched to blue cheeses, quince paste and almond meal biscuits. Or the perfect dessert wine without dessert, it is superb on its own.
Smells
Sultanas, lychees, Turkish delight, rose petals and honey.
Tastes
Unctuous, decadent, and amazingly exotic, this is the nectar of the Gods with a nice citrus freshness that makes it easy to be tempted by a second glass. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.
