Description
Sourced primarily from the Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua and Quinta das Lages in the Rio Torto. The finest wines are carefully selected and then aged in 534-litre casks until peak maturity. An astonishingly complex wine that is made for immediate consumption, though the bottle will last many weeks once opened.
Smells
Pouring a delicate amber in the glass, aromas of orange peel, honey, butterscotch, toasted nuts and crème brulée.
Tastes
Rich, soft and unctuous in the mouth with the lovely warming character of aged Tawny. Perfect with cheese, nuts or dried fruit (or even a cigar), there’s no need to decant, just serve at room temperature (18 degrees) and enjoy.
