Description
Warre’s is the oldest British owned brand Port house and has an exceedingly fine reputation. It was started in 1670 by two Englishmen, William Burgoyne and John Jackson. Now owned by the Symington family who has furthered its quality and holdings. Tawny Port is made for immediate consumption, in this case King’s Tawny is oak cask aged for an average of 3 years and bottled when ready to drink. The perfect finish to any meal, and it is delicious with a cheese selection.
Smells
a heady perfume of red berries, marzipan, nutty nuances, and hints of raisins soaked in black tea.
Tastes
