A single vineyard range showcasing the unique character of Church Road's very best vineyards from the best sub-regions in Hawke’s Bay including the famed Redstone, Tuki Tuki and Gimblett Gravels sites. The winemaker take a back seat and allow the land to stamp its mark on the wine so it reveals a true expression of place in every glass, every time.
Smells
Rich, dark berry fruit and earthy complexity with lifted notes of sandalwood, cedar, violets, florals thyme and a hint of vanilla.
Tastes
A dense, weighty wine kept in check by firm tannin and gentle acidity with dives exceptional length across the palate. One for the cellar, but will also drink well now if decanted. Enjoy with red meats and hard cheeses.
