Description

The Fourth Wave team always impress, and this new range in NZ continues to follow that trend. Released in the same swat bottles as the renowned Little Giant range, instantly recognisable, especially on the shelf, wise choice, making it easier for you to spot their labels anywhere. Never minding the wines are stonking. Coonawarra is an iconic region that is legendary the world over and one sip of this Crimson Monster Cabernet from Coonawarra and you will understand why.. Big, bold, and boisterous and at a bargain price of sub $22. This is one for the cellar, buy lots.

Smells

one smell and you can smell the terra-rossa soils, the red soils of Coonawarra. Ripe blackcurrants, with a chalky, earthy, iron bouquet.

Tastes

a wine packed with fruit in the mid-palate, has silky smooth, chalky tannins, speaking of the variety and offers a sense of place. Blackcurrant flavours charge across the tongue yet the whole package is silky smooth, with balanced tannins, dark luscious fruit and even a touch of charm. Drinking well now through 2028 and will pair with lamb, beef or venison.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
