GOOGLE the winery and see the normal price of this “Prestige” Margaret River Cabernet… you’ll be blown away! The best Cabernet fruit was handpicked from two outstanding Margaret River vineyards and carefully hand sorted on arrival at the winery – only perfectly ripe and conditioned fruit went to pressing. The fruit was crushed and destemmed then fermented for 10 days on skins. A portion of approximately 30% was retained for a period of extended maceration on skins followed by a gentle pressing adding plushness and a savoury textural element. The final blend went to Fine French oak barriques, a judicious 20% new… maturing in barrel for 10 months. A beautiful expression of fine Margaret River Cabernet, this delicious balance between winemaking and fruit showcasing why it is one of the world’s leading Cabernet regions.
