Description
Bespoke Cabernet's debut was in 2015, 4 years later and the quality is equally as good, if not better. Yet again showing Mills Reef's gift for making wines with class as well as mass appeal. A modern and smooth take on Cabernet with the benefit of some American oak giving a delicious vanilla tinge to the dark fruit and cedary, floral Cabernet notes. Very fine and very long, it's a beautifully structured wine that will be hugely popular, and a wine everyone will love.
Smell: beguiling aromas of blackcurrants, dark chocolate, bramble, rosehip, brown spice, and vanilla toasty oak.
Tastes: Two champion varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc from the Gimblett Gravels wine growing district come seamlessly together in this delicious fusion, bursting with Black Doris plum and brambly black berry fruits, complemented with subtle cedary oak and a lingering spicy liquorice finish. Drinking well now through 2028 and will pair with beef, lamb and venison.
