Description

The Taylors St Andrews Cabernet Sauvignon is a true homage to heritage and quality. Named after the historic property established by Scottish migrants in 1892, the St Andrews name was revived when the Taylor family reacquired the land in 1995. Since 1999, the St Andrews range has stood as a flagship collection for one of Australia’s most highly awarded wineries and a proud member of Australia’s First Families of Wine. As 3rd-generation winemakers in the Clare Valley, the Taylor family leverages the region’s elevated, cooler climate—a unique contrast to the Barossa—ensuring optimal conditions for crafting premium wines. With a strong commitment to sustainability, Taylors continues to innovate while honouring time-tested traditions. This classic Clare Valley Cabernet is crafted with exceptional attention to detail, delivering a wine of remarkable depth and complexity. While it’s perfectly suited for long-term aging, its elegance and balance make it equally enjoyable in its youth. A wine that embodies history, sustainability, and excellence!

Smells

Deep dark and brooding with hints of cassis, mint, blackberry, dried herbs, dark chocolate and cedar.

Tastes

Intensely concentrated and very pure with rich, ripe tannins and length to burn. A sensational wine that will continue to improve and delight for 15 to 20 years. Enjoy with your favourite red meats and good company between now and 2036. The recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees.
