Description
La Grace Dieu or in English, God's grace, or more appropriately, a heavenly drop, blessed by God, and what is not to be loved about that? A wonderful blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc and from the spectacular 2019 vintage and sub $43 this is a wine to stash away for Weddings or other such prestigeous celebrations. It has God's blessings.
Smells
a dark, brooding nose ensues, aromas of roasted acorns, bramble, dark plums, blackberries, coffee and hints of blackcurrant jam.
Tastes
no wallflower, rather a wine with ripe, concentrated fruit in a full bodied spectrum and showing ripe Merlot characters. Rustic, chewy tannins compliment and add to the charm, and where lovers of big, ripe, juicy full bodied styles will find pleasure with every sip. Drinking well now through 2027.
