From the deep stony soils of the Gimblett Gravels, the three parcels were separately fermented in open top concrete fermenters with traditional hand plunging. After further maceration on skins, they were pressed to 225l French Barriques (Judicious 30% new) for 20 months. Then the final blend was made before bottling… and what a blend it is. This powerhouse Kiwi Red Bargain will live for 10-years… but is so in harmony you can open tonight. Whenever you drink it – your expectations will be well exceeded.
