Smells
A perfumed bouquet of raspberries, cranberries, red cherry, red liquorice, cedar, and sandalwood with hints of baked, red earth and a touch of spice.
Tastes
A classically structured palate accentuating all that is Italian & Tuscan, those super fine grain, feathery tannins that weave magic across the tongue and cheeks, combined with a superb acid backbone. All this structure is filled with a basket of fruits of the forest, earthy, savoury complexities and a lingering balsamic tang & richness on the finish. Classic and great drinking. If you have not tasted an Italian red or Chianti, this is the time… Serve with pasta, pizza, or casseroles. Drinking well now through 2029.
