Description
One of the founding farming families of the McLaren Vale are the Osborns, tending old vines since 1912, The Stump Jump named after a proprietary piece of equipment which allowed the plough to ‘jump’ over tree roots… however the vineyard manager was also poorly sighted hence the ‘eye-test’ label. Old bush vine Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre combine in perfect unison providing a juicy, generous glass of GSM, best enjoyed midweek, at a BYO or with any BBQ.
Smells
Bright red berries of redcurrant, raspberry compote, sandalwood with hints of raisins soaked in port and a whiff of vanilla
Tastes
Juicy and plump with bright red fruit, chalky tannins, medium length, and great structure. Enjoy up to 7 years from vintage easily.
