And emanating from Famille Perrin, the masters of the Rhône Valley, this newly released Reserve Côtes du Rhône is one delicious Red. At sub $30, it delivers an outstanding Rhône experience. Fruity and fleshy with beautiful tannins, although accessibly priced Côtes du Rhône, it’s crafted with premium fruit almost exclusively from their Grand Prébois vineyards (for the Grenache) and Vinsobres vineyards (for the Syrah). A beautiful Red you should always have around!
Smells
Deep, dark, brooding aromas of blackberry, black cherry, cedar, sandalwood, and spice.
Tastes
Intense, deep red colour with purple reflections. It opens powerfully and expressively with elegance with fine tannins balancing the opulent ripe black fruit and typical Syrah spices persisting throughout the superbly long finish. Lovely drinking now through 2028 and will match with BBQ meats, especially pork ribs.
