Produced by the incredible Pasetti family, led by Mimmo and now carried forward by his three children, this wine is a true family affair. Nestled in the National Park area of Pescosansonesco AMSL, situated at an altitude of 550 meters, the estate enjoys an alpine climate with southeast-facing vineyards and deep clay-calcareous soils. These conditions impart the wines with remarkable structure, long persistence, and outstanding aromatic quality. This unique terroir is perfectly suited to the Montepulciano grape, enhancing its natural character while celebrating the harmonious balance of nature and tradition that defines the Pasetti family’s winemaking philosophy.

the colour is equally as impressive, dark, and compelling. And the palate packs some weight, with a dense, compact core of fruit, supported by chewy, somewhat challenging tannins right now. With airtime, however, the wine opens up. A very serious Montepulciano that will benefit from 4-6 years in a temperature-controlled cellar. Or if you cannot resist, decant at least an hour prior to serving. The recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees.
