The winery features old-school concrete fermentation tanks reminiscent of those found in the Rhône, adding character and authenticity to their winemaking process. Crafted from old vines over 65 years old, this Pinotage spends 16 months in French oak barrels, followed by at least a year of bottle aging before release. The 2021 vintage stands out as one of their finest, showcasing vibrant, juicy fruit that makes it instantly enjoyable while retaining the structure and depth to age gracefully for over a decade. Rich, weighty and filled with liquorice, smoky oak and cured game meats, the long, ripely fruited finish aided by lavish tannins. A classic expression that's at the very top of the quality tree.
