Description
Old Barossa vignerons referred to their vineyards as gardens. The Three Gardens is a contemporary blend of 44% Grenache, 34% Shiraz and 19% Mataro, 1% Carignan, 1% Cinsault and 1% Counoise, varieties which have been grown in the Barossa since the 1840s. The best characteristics of each variety have been combined to create a truly harmonious wine.
Smells
wonderful Grenache aromas fill the glass, sun-baked strawberries, and milk chocolate, with layers of complexity, the result of the other varieties, red berries, crushed thyme, and spice.
Tastes
quintessentially Grenache in structure, plush fruit with silky smooth tannins that tickle the cheeks. The Shiraz component adds a herbal underlay with a chalky texture and refreshing acidity. Supremely drinkable for all those lovers of the Cote du Rhone style, but from our Aussie neighbours. Drinking well now through 2027 and try with sticky pork ribs.
We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
