Description
Made from Gamay, predominately from the Moulin-A-Vent area of Beaujolais and lightly oaked to retain the crunchy red fruit flavours, this is a great example of the variety. Lively and light-bodied, it is an excellent accompaniment to salads and poultry dishes, as well as firm and creamy cheeses.
Smells
A bright nose of raspberry, black pepper and spice with hints of thyme.
Tastes
A deliciously savoury palate, red berries and pepper, with hints of spice and dried herbs. Soft, chalky tannins and crisp acidity keep it fresh but elegant. Enjoy now until 2027. Recommended drinking temperature 12c - 15c.
