Description

New to the Fine Wine Delivery Co portfolio a few years ago and where the 2020 scored 97 points and Best in Show Decanter World Wine Awards….wow that’s impressive. And with one taste of the 2022 we are sure it will follow strongly in the 2020’s footsteps. If you have ever wanted to taste and understand what the hype is all about with top-quality Spanish wines, here is the place to start, especially with a sub$28 price tag, it couldn’t get much better. A unique organic blend from Aragon, 50% Tempranillo, 30% Garnacha (Grenache in French), 12% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, from grapes grown on their home vineyards. The concentration is remarkable for the price bracket, oh and stocks are very limited, don’t delay….

Smells

a heady perfume of baked blackberries, black cherry, and plum fruits waft from the glass with lifted herbs, fennel, and rosemary.

Tastes

haunting depth, concentration and power, juicy fruit within a finely structured framework, and a lively interplay from the crystalline acid thread. Dark berry fruit flavours amass, baked earth notes with exotic Asian spice adding to the mix. The combination of indigenous varieties with a seasoning of Bordeaux favourites brings the wine complexity and slight contrast to the initial aromatic sweetness. Simply irresistible, best decanted prior to serving and will cellar well for 5-7years+. Serve with succulent cuts of beef. The recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
