Description
Named in tribute to the legendary Barossan vignerons who paved the way for so many world-class examples of wines to be produced now. The Kennedy GSM is specifically a nod to Leo 'Joe' Kennedy, the man who planted and tamed the 50+-year-old bush vines that grow the Grenache proportion of this wine. It is supremely concentrated, with so much going on that it's a wine one keeps on going back for more, purely because there is so much more excitement to discover with each sip.
Smells
A real amalgam of aromas, with blackcurrant, menthol and spice followed on with a touch of cigar box and gaminess to it. Truly intriguing.
Tastes
An explosion of dark fruit abound, with blackberry, plum and currants all wrapped up in some incredibly soft and supple tannins. The mouthfeel has a depth of fruit, rivalled by few, supported by chewy tannins, and the finish just keeps on going. What a superb example of GSM from what will no doubt become one of our most popular Australian producers available here at Fine Wine Delivery.
