This Vega del Rayo Tempranillo is a superb example of the modern everyday priced reds emanating from the appellation these days… a glowing, moreish example of the luscious exuberance and charm they offer. It is a vivacious, exciting and smooth red wine, 100% Tempranillo and unoaked. It has abundant concentration, character and engaging tannin structure… oak would only get in the way of this delicious, super affordable Spanish red. Epic value and quality, enjoy as a young, fresh red. As much charm and more body than a $20-$30 Central Otago Pinot Noir.
