Dry River Pinot Noir regularly receives scores in the high 90’s but scores have their place and with a legendary wine like Dry River in a strong vintage like 2021 in Martinborough, we'll be putting this in our cellars for at least 10 years and suggest you do the same. Make your decision early to secure your slice of perfection.
Smells
Big, dense aromas of cherries, exotic spices, plums, and florals - a gorgeous nose that shows more classical early identity than some past vintages (which took years to show their true potential).
Tastes
Perfectly pure with sensational concentration, complexity and fine, integrated tannins, everything is in place here, the ripeness perfectly judged and the balance simply impeccable. This will be one of the greats, cellar now to 2036 and well beyond.
