Description
Fromm Pinot Noir is a certified organic wine made in a decidedly European style, the structure and spicy character driving a long, full finish. This 2022 Pinot Noir was sourced from 4 vineyards across 2 sub-regions of Marlborough including the very famous Fromm and Churton vineyards – the vineyards that some of the country’s best Pinot comes off. Fromm always produces complex, show-stopping wines and this is a classic example of why Marlborough (as a region) and Fromm (as a producer) are quickly gaining recognition as producing some of the finest Pinot Noirs in New Zealand.
Smells
Bright and pure Pinot with notes of fresh cherry, wild raspberry, dried thyme, and subtle sweet oaky notes.
Tastes
pristine and linear, with silky smooth and very fine tannins. The bright red fruits dominate, whilst subtle French oak notes round out the pallet. Very enjoyable on release but will age 7-10 years from vintage, serve with lamb, beef or mushroom dishes. The recommended serving temperature is 13-15 degrees.
