They’ve asked Fine Wine Delivery to CLEAR them through our legendry Hidden Label program to protect their prestige brand. This prestige Central Otago Pinot Noir was made with 5 Clones of grapes sourced from sustainable vineyards in Lowburn, Gibbston & Wanaka. Hand-harvested then hand sorted in the winery before pressing to ensure only the best grapes make the cut. It underwent a wild ferment with a judicious 10% whole bunch and was macerated on skins 18-22 days. Aged 12 months in barrel followed by 9 months in concrete and wooden cuves. It was bottled unfined. A mix of traditional & modern winemaking... this Pinot is made without compromise to the highest quality standards. Smells
Expressive and enticing aromas of dark cherry, blueberry, blackberry, thyme, anise & spice.
Tastes
An explosion of flavour saturates the palate with dark berry & cherry fruits, star anise, dark chocolate and baking spice unfolding in a silkily textured and fine tannined embrace. The oak is seamless, the flavours are luscious… it finishes with intent and excellent length. 3-years old and beginning to show its complex layers, a beautiful Pinot Noir at its best 2027-2030.
