Description
Not content to be the masters of the white Burgundy model, the Brajkovichs at Kumeu River have been working exceptionally hard on producing a classy Pinot Noir to go with their world class Chardonnays. This 2020 Hunting Hill Pinot Noir is the finest vintage we've tried from their cellars, a darkly concentrated and quite Burgundian style of Pinot.
Smells
Smoky oak and dark rose petals, with abundant cherry fruit and summer plums.
Tastes
Structured and dry, with plenty of spicy, plush, dark fruit to balance the elegant line, the wine builds and builds to a long finish. A classy release from Kumeu River, it will cellar well too, so grab a few more bottles than you need.
