The 2022 Southern Tor drew a 96/100 from our Tasting Panel and had already gone GOLD at the IWC in London… before scooping 97/100, Platinum + Best in Show at Decanter World Wine Awards. Building on the reputation of the 2020 (3 Trophies) & 2021 (5 Trophies). If only McArthur Ridge could have seen the future, not split the juice into two parcels. The first being the 2022 Southern Tor, the second parcel underwent elevage in ‘experimental’ oak. We have tasted the wine, and fruit purity sings through, the texture is amazing, and ultimately the wine is above reproach. Smells
Haunting aromas of dark berry and fresh dark cherry with subtle raspberry. Floral and baking spice notes emerge from under the heady fruit.
