Description
This wine is a true expression of Terra Sancta’s unique terroir, showcasing an alluring perfume and a complex flavour profile. The contribution of the oldest vines brings enhanced depth and character, highlighted by the hallmark minerality, purity, and precision synonymous with Terra Sancta. This Pinot triumphs with natural vinification, using wild yeast and no additives, staying true to its roots. A benchmark Central Otago Pinot, it’s ideal for aging 5–7 years to develop further complexities but is equally delightful to drink now.
Smells
Bright berry-fruit notes of raspberry and blueberry, balanced by forest floor earthiness and subtle oak.
Tastes
Silky smooth, with great length and complexity. Bright red berries dominate the palate, whilst the crunchy cherry like acidity provides great structure and length. Perfect with savoury, mushroom pasta dishes. Drinking well now through 2028. The recommended serving temperature is 13-15 degrees.
