Description
Two Paddocks make unashamedly premium Pinot Noir, but for the nights when your budget doesn't quite stretch to their awesome Estate and Single Vineyard range. Picnic Pinot Noir is a very credible and stylish substitute and certified organic, making it better for the planet, yourself and even more of a bargain. With a picture of Sam's grandfather taken in 1919 on the label, wine merchant Sidney Neill, Picnic Pinot Noir is a great introduction to the passion project that is Two Paddocks. From the very good 2022 season – this wine may be entry-level and affordable, but no winemaking costs were spared.
Smells
Heady aromas of black and red cherry, with some exotic spice and Central Otago lavender.
Tastes
Juicy, bright, and full of red fruits and subtle dried herbs. The tannins are soft, yet chalky helping to create good pallet length – enjoy upon release or up to 7 years from vintage. Made for mushroom pasta and roasted meats. The recommended serving temperature is 13-15 degrees.
We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
