The winemaking Gods were on the side of four times International Wine Challenge “Champion Pinot Noir winemaker of the Year” Grant Taylor… and “2020 NZ Winemaker of the Year”, Jen Parr… blessing them with such a pitch perfect 2022 vintage on their 25th Anniversary year! Everything about the growing of these grapes and making of the wine is done with utmost attention to detail and quality. It starts with meticulously managed low yielding old vine vineyards, a mix of traditional & modern Pinot Noir winemaking, the finest quality French oak barriques and zero fining & filtering. This is Grand Cru level commemorative Pinot Noir of the highest order. You should plan a special meal anytime you open a bottle; every bottle will be mesmerising… even more rewarding with special company. It’s a wine you fuss over, this 25th Anniversary Gibbston Pinot Noir will have such an impact, you’ll likely be able to recall when and with whom you shared it many years down the track. At its best from 2030-2035 and will drink through 2040 if properly stored.
