Description
Renowned for being freakishly consistently excellent… Two Rivers Isle of Beauty has been NZ’s #1 Rose 3 of the last 5 years in Cuisine Magazine, plus collected countless 5 Star Awards & Gold Medals to boot. The brand new 2023 release continues the tradition with an amazing 4 x 5 Star ratings + 2 Gold Medals. It was the #1 Selling NZ Rosé in our October “Everything Rosé” Tasting Evening attended by 120 customers. Two Rivers & Marlborough Winemaking Guru Dave Clouston learnt his Rosé craft in Corsica, making a proprietary blend of 7 varieties in a Mediterranean DRY style. Treated as a white wine in the cellar, the potpourri of Pinot Noir, Syrah & Viognier grapes were pressed off skins early and fermented cold in stainless steel to accentuate fruit purity. The wine was then aged on light yeast lees for two months to gain complexity and increase mouthfeel. Pale Pink in colour... it has a pure, textural & DRY palate like Premium Provence Rosé. This Isle of Beauty will give you enormous summer pleasure.
Smells
Delicate Mediterranean like aromas of rose petals, wild strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, subtle spices & herbs.
Tastes
A potpourri of pure crushed berries and fresh watermelon wash over the palate with subtle sherbet and a hint of Himalayan salt refreshing the edges. Tastes of the Mediterranean delivered in a creamy textural mouthfeel with a beautifully DRY, Provence like poise. All persistence & pleasure on the delicious, salivating finish!
