Life and wine are all about balance, and nobody knows this better than Warren Gibson and Lorraine Leheny. 'Bilancia' was born out of the Italian word for balance, where the pair learned many of their winemaking chops. Syrah has always been a speciality, and this Bilancia Syrah is Roys Hill Syrah at its very best.
Smells
Leather, roses, red liquorice, florals, and pepper.
Tastes
Juicy and meaty, with delicious peppery nuances in a finely textured palate, this wine will get more and more leathery and complex over the next 2 to 4 years. This wine literally sings, a literal symphony of harmony, power, charm, and balance. Certainly, irresistible and a more approachable style than previous years but for added perfume decant just prior to serving. Perfect with pasta, or a juicy chargrilled rump. For optimal drinking pleasure serve at 15-16 degrees.
