Description
Henry's Seven is named after Henry Evans, the first man to plant grapes at Keyneton in 1853, seven acres worth. An affordable and thrilling entry to the Henschke range of wines, which simply must be tasted to be believed, the 2016 blend is 73% Shiraz, 17% Grenache, 5% Mataro and 5% Viognier, spending 10 months in older French hogsheads.
Smells
Exotic notes of raspberry liquorice, steely minerals, baking spices and red and black berries.
Tastes
Smooth, supple and stylish with tannins that melt in the mouth and great freshness and purity, this has the X factor Henschke reds are famous for, without the hefty price tag of their legendary Hill of Grace and Edelstone. Drink now to 2025.
We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
