Maison les Alexandrins is the passion project of Rhône Valley winegrowers Nicolas Jaboulet, Guillaume Sorrel, and Alexandre Caso. Their wines are a perfect blend of modern style and timeless elegance, crafted from exceptional vineyards discovered by terroir expert Alexandre Caso. The northern terroir boasts granite slopes similar to Hermitage, while the southern soil is rich with alluvial deposits and stony terraces. Planted on sun-drenched, south-facing slopes and caressed by the Mistral breeze, these vines produce wines that capture the true essence of the Rhône Valley. Smells
On the nose, the wine reveals the freshness of the vintage, aromas of crushed wild red berries, fresh herbs, rosemary and thyme and with an earthy, sandalwood undercurrent.
Tastes
That same freshness continues on the palate, with beautiful flavours of blackberry, black pepper and liquorice, balanced by a salivating acid thread. A wine full of finesse, freshness and elegance. Drinking well now through 2028 and will match with roasted red meats. For optimal drinking pleasure the recommended serving temperature is 15-17 degrees.
