Well, no, the new release The Gaia Project from Mission 2023 is simply outstanding and excellent value for money. A very tasty drop that you and all your friends will love. The quintessential BBQ wine is bright, juicy, fruity, and dangerously drinkable. Sourced from some of the best Hawke’s Bay vineyards in the Gimblett Gravels, with organically grown grapes, again too good to be true, but it is, thank goodness for miracles.
Smells
a perfumed bouquet, a potpourri of florals, red berries with white pepper and dark spice.
Tastes
Tiny berries with intense flavour have made this delicious Syrah expressive and vibrant. Soft and rich with excellent structure; floral notes are beautifully balanced with ripe red fruits and dark berry notes, supported by hints of fresh cracked pepper. All are supported by soft, yet chewy tannins adding texture. Drinking superbly now through 2026. For optimal drinking pleasure, the recommended serving temperature is 15-17 degrees.
