The grapes are sourced from 6 distinct parcels across diverse soils, including decomposed granite, shale, and schist, with vines ranging from 19 to 26 years old. The result is a sophisticated and powerful Syrah, with a concentrated core of dark fruit and impressive structure. Juicy and very intense, it opens up in the glass, revealing its cellar potential and impressive structure. A long finish and supple tannins make it enjoyable now but with plenty of potential. The tannins simply build and build, and in fact is one of the best South African Syrah the Fine Wine Team has tasted. Serve with your favourite roasted red meats. The recommended serving temperature is 15-17 degrees.
