The Barossa is often buffeted by winds from the west, so it seems only fitting that this wine is named after the Greek God of the West Wind, Zephyrus. Often depicted as a horse due to its speed, this wine shows all the power and elegance of its four-legged namesake. Every wine from Sons of Eden exudes, power, strength, depth, and incredible concentration, they set the benchmark, way above the rest. And it seems this Zephyrus is on steroids and taking this brand to a new high, a wine with such fruit weight that it is spellbinding. And it scored 95pts with Decanter, no mean feat. The viticulturalist and winemaking team can only be commended. Buy as many as the budget will allow and lock away for 10 years+.
