Description

Take it to the Grave Shiraz 2023 is a testament to the winemaking brilliance of Nicholas Crampton, Corey Ryan, and the Fourth Wave team. Known for their skill in crafting approachable, high-quality wines, they’ve once again delivered a stunner that over-delivers for its price. This vintage is a blend of old vine Shiraz grapes, predominantly sourced from the dry-farmed vineyards of Langhorne Creek, combined with a select parcel from the Barossa Valley. The result? A rich and heavenly combo that showcases the best of both regions. The 2023 release impresses with its superb concentration, velvety richness, and seductive depth. It's a wine bursting with ripe dark fruits, a hint of spice, and a lush, lingering finish. At its price point, this wine is a total steal—you’d happily pay double for this level of quality. Perfect for both casual sipping and pairing with hearty dishes. Don't miss out!

Smells

sweet lifted perfumed aromas rise from the glass, sun baked strawberries, cinnamon, cedar, dark chocolate, coffee grinds and hints of white pepper and balsamic notes.

Tastes

a soft, smooth approach with flavours reminiscent of chocolate and cinnamon with a fresh berry coulis. The tannins kiss the cheeks combined with the soft acid, making for a superb, approachable style for everyday drinking. The old vines have given depth, and complexity making this unbelievable value for money. Your new everyday go-to. Perfect on its own or with all red meats. The recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees.
